Favorite quotes and concepts

I have been writing down some of my favorite quotes for some time. I have realized that some of these are not really quotes as much as they are ideas and concepts to help myself and others to achieve a greater sense of contentment. Sometimes our automatic or preprogrammed thinking/perspective about ourselves, our relationships and the world around us contributes to a unnecessary distress. So I am sharing these quotes and concepts with others to remind us to remain attentive to our thinking to insure our perspective is grounded in accurate, mature thinking. I know, some quotes can get a bit hokey but I have found so much wisdom from others' experiences and insights. If you have ever been in a session with me, you may have heard me reference a few of these!
